Applied working holiday visa to grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity & explored throughout New Zealand. This had long been a goal of mine to achieve before turning 30.
This valuable living abroad experience enhanced my problem-solving skills & cross-cultural communication skills through diverse job roles.
Hands-on experience in various industries, including food manufacturing, food catering & servicing, agriculture, horticulture, and the apparel industry, has developed my adaptability to different work environments.
QA Executive

- July 2022 – Jan 2023
- Role of coordinate & monitor the implementation of Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal), attend audit activities by certification/regulatory bodies and customers.
- Monitor & ensure the quality of incoming raw materials, in-process & outgoing products are within the internal specification, customers’ specification & countries’ specification.
- Supervise QA team & together work with other relevant departments to do trouble shooting & root cause analysis for quality/food safety issue or customer complaint, and follow-up the effectiveness of corrective action taken.
- Conduct validation of CCP & verification as per schedule. Coordinate samples for external lab analysis, monitor laboratory test analysis and document the test results promptly.
- Role of document controller in maintaining all documentation of FSMS. Assure continual compliance by reviewing company procedure, SOPs and changes in statutory & regulatory legislation.
- Provide food safety training (GMP & HACCP training) for new joiner; conduct monthly GMP audit & follow-up the corrective action.
QA Executive

- Develop, implement & maintain for quality monitoring activities of incoming, in-process & outgoing final inspection to ensure continuity & consistency of product quality.
- Establish & update the necessary QA specification & procedure from time to time to ensure continuous improvement.
- Supervise QA team & together work with other relevant departments to do trouble shooting for quality/food safety issue or whenever receive customer complaint.
- Involved in company Internal audit & External audit (ISO22000, HACCP, Halal & customer’s WSE audit); participate in management review meeting on the performance of quality & food safety system.
- Conduct routine verification activities including documents verification, external laboratory test, shelf-life study etc., to meet the internal specification.
- Provide yearly refresher training of food safety to all relevant departments.
- Responsible for other various QA/QC activities (customer returned, packing weight calculation & specification, packaging artwork evaluation etc.) to meet standard of PRP program.
