A law graduate with a burning love for the law and a dream of giving back to the society. Everyone looks to stand out. Here’s my reason why. I learn fast. Throughout my diverse past work experiences, I have had to learn new skills and train new practices and adapt to different work cultures.

I had working while pursuing my bachelor’s due to my desire to achieve financial freedom. Hence, I went from a Sales Representative, Tutor, Property Agent and finally ending up as an Office Associate at a political office. Working here was the realization of a personal goal; giving back to the community by working in an elected representative’s service center.

However, it quickly dawned on me that being in a political office is hard work and is no place for a lackey. Working in a political office, requires you to be able to think on your feet and to be prepared to learn quickly such as during a crisis. Micromanaging was non-existent and tasks often seemed like a mountain to climb.

However, ‘no excuses, only solutions’, was the order of the day. It may seem downright strict, however self-dependence was nurtured albeit after challenging times which brings me to the 2nd reason why I stand out. I have been trained to face real time issues and to be able to think on my feet, which makes me better equipped than other of my respected candidates who may have only been exposed to the issues mentioned in the reading materials provided to us back at the university.

While my past experiences may have not directly much exposed me to the law, it trained me with the skills required to be in the legal sector, and I am seeking for an opportunity to execute them
