Maintain accurate personnel onboard list (POB), crew roster, cabin and lifeboat allocation.
Operate/Maintain all VHF, MF/HF, satellite and other communication systems.
Maintain log of all radio communication received and transmitted within the rig and external parties (vessels, helicopters, shore base).
Log any vessel that come into the radius of meters of the rig.
Conduct schedule radio check with vessels and other facilities.
Monitor emergency channels and respond promptly during emergency situation.
Sound alarm system in the occurrence of emergency and ensure personnel are mustered at muster point for head count.
Follow security procedures and communication protocols, ensure only authorize personal use handheld radio and guide on using proper codes and languages for radio transmission.
Create timesheet and submit to monthly payroll team.
Track and report the logistics of personnel and vessel register departure and arrivals and report to the Offshore Installation (OIM) or Barge Master.
Log all weather conditions on regular basis as directed by the OIM or Barge Engineer.
File operational documents electronically and manually.
Assist with safety drill, like fire, abandon and man overboard.
Enforce radio silence during critical drilling operations.
Take active role in promoting HSE performance within my work area.
Maintain visitor and contractor records.
