As passionate and enthusiastic I am about broadcasting, I have always believed broadcasting/communications was what I was destined to do for as long as I can remember but that passion has not deprived me from chasing other professions. In my quest to self-discovery, I realized that I am very good with my hands; digital marketing, fashion design, video and audio editing, but to mention a few, I realized that every skill I tried my hands on, I easily graduated from the basics to the difficult levels and I believe that says a lot about me.

I strive to develop myself for the fear of being left behind and also to have the required skills that would help me tackle the day to day challenges any position may bring.

I also posses other relevant skills that would be required for the job - I have experience in social media management, strong communications skills, I am fully skilled in executing any task given to me, and I would excel in communicating effectively with a team and your clients. Volunteer Radio Presenter & Producer September 2022 - Present

• Introduced and presented a 1 hour weekend special each week.
• Researched topics and background information for segments of the upcoming show.
• Planned the running order of each show and rehearsed to ensure it ran smoothly.
• Wrote scripts and prompts.
• Interviewed guests in the studio and by telephone.
• Determined which music to play and created an appropriate playlist.
• Read short news and traffic reports.
• Drove the desk and operated technical equipment for recording and playback, including queuing and playing music and jingles.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and, prepare for each segment of the upcoming show, condensing material into its specified time slot, creating running orders and preparing scripts.
• Work with Producers and Broadcast Assistants to select show content based on audience tastes, program specialties, and public requests.
• Introduce music, guests, and other features throughout the show.
• Conduct guest interviews including studying background information and preparing questions that result in engaging content.
• Lead audience phone-ins and moderate discussions where necessary.
• Ensure the show runs smoothly, managing any complications calmly and improvising when required.
• Remain compliant with all Radio guidelines and policies.
• Operate a variety of studio equipment including the control console board and audio systems.
• Work with the Marketing Team to support revenue-generating activities.
