• Designing and developing a data lake solution for moving and preprocessing large volumes of data from an on-premise PostgreSQL database to S3 using AWS Data Migration Service (DMS), Glue Jobs, Glue Crawlers, Glue Workflow, Lake Formation, and Athena
• Designed, built, and orchestrated an ingestion process for large-scale ingestion of tweets into a data lake and integrated the process with an interface via a REST API
• Wrote Spark and SQL scripts for cleaning, processing, and aggregating large datasets.
• Wrote Python and Shell scripts for tasks such as setting up cloud infrastructure, automating the installation and deployment of tools like Airflow and PredictionIO, parsing data from unstructured text files into a structured file format like JSON and CSV, etc.
