Product & Systems Builder — Independent Project at EnGedi Africa (2026-01 – Present)

Designed and built a two-sided marketplace platform (construction marketplace platform) end-to-end.

• Designed and built a two-sided marketplace platform end-to-end mapping workflows across six distinct user types, defining requirements, and translating them into working, shipped features.
• Architected and rebuilt the platform's database from scratch after a full data loss, writing one consolidated script covering all tables, role-based access (security) policies, and file storage turning an outage into a documented, repeatable process.
• Built and shipped core user workflows: two-step role-aware signup, authentication, role-based dashboards, password recovery, and full create/read/update/delete functionality for listings and orders.
• Independently diagnosed and resolved recurring technical issues with no technical team to rely on including a login/session redirect loop, role-based access permission errors, and a file-encoding bug corrupting core app files.
• Produced a phased build roadmap sequencing scope against available resources, a 30-step operational action plan, and a written audit of the live product identifying trust and credibility gaps.
• Documented architecture decisions, bug fixes, and product strategy throughout, so the work could be reviewed, picked up, or maintained by someone else.

Supporting a founder (also a practicing lawyer) across operations and marketing.

• Provided day-to-day administrative and operational support, plus marketing support beyond the standard scope of the role managing tasks, scheduling, and communications across two active workstreams (legal and business).
• Organized and maintained workflows and documentation in Notion and Trello, and managed scheduling, files, and communication through Google Workspace.
• Worked directly with a founder balancing two demanding roles, requiring independent prioritization and reliable follow-through with minimal supervision.
