Eleni Matraka

I am a graduate with a Bachelor's and integrated Master's degree in Planning and Regional Development Engineering from the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece. This program provided me with a comprehensive foundation in Urban Planning, Spatial Planning, and Regional Development. Throughout my academic journey, I immersed myself in subjects ranging from climate change and spatial resilience to planning theories, specific spatial planning issues, strategic spatial planning-geopolitics, urban synthesis, and green design.

My academic pursuits reached a pivotal moment when I successfully completed my Master's degree in Spatial Planning with a specialization in Cities, Water, and Climate Change at Radboud University in the Netherlands. This program broadened my horizons, equipping me with the expertise to address the pressing issues of urbanization, water resource management, and climate resilience.

I'm genuinely passionate about creating sustainable, resilient, and thriving cities that can withstand the challenges of climate change. As a recent graduate, I am excited to apply my knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios, contribute to meaningful projects, and collaborate with like-minded professionals and organizations dedicated to shaping a more sustainable and resilient urban future.
