I graduated from ArtEZ University of the Arts with a fashion design degree, deeply passionate about exploring the dynamic relationship between fabric structures and knits to the human body.
With internships at KBN Knitwear and Max Zara Sterck, I've gained hands-on experience, from up-cycling knitwear to sewing intimate apparel, alongside concept development, rebranding, and production.
My design philosophy centers on taking a personal concept or narrative in society, using tailoring, texture and a big passion for knit to convey emotion in both wearer and viewer, drawing inspiration from the creative potential of reconstructing archetypes.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts, where I completed a seven-look collection featuring both tailoring and knitwear pieces. My professional journey began with an eight-month internship at KBN Knitwear in London, where I worked as a design assistant, focusing on knitwear development and honing my skills in garment construction.
I also embarked on an upcycling project with APOC Store, where I developed sustainable fashion pieces by reimagining and reconstructing an existing garment. This experience deepened my understanding of sustainable practices and innovative design.
In Amsterdam, I worked closely with Max Zara Sterck for three months, acting as the designer’s right hand. My responsibilities included assisting in the design process, managing interns, rebranding, and overseeing garment production. Additionally, I have experience in luxury retail, where I have not only provided exceptional customer service but also in garment adjustments and alterations, ensuring a perfect fit for clients.
