• Proven successful track record in leadership positions, as Director of Archaeological Research and Training, Damascus, Syria, as the head of the national team responsible for registering the Dead Cities (Syrian Archeological Site) on the international world heritage list and several pertinent national and international restoration and rehabilitation projects. 
• Associate supervisor of multiple doctoral and master’s theses.
• Doctorate and academic title recognized by the Dutch Ministry of Higher Education.
• Founder of the Arabic Dutch Cultural House Foundation in the Netherlands.
