MSc in Analytical Chemistry (Universiteit van Amsterdam).
My academic journey includes an MSc in Analytical Chemistry, concluding a master's internship in the Molecular Sciences Department at the University of Amsterdam My project focused on the time-resolved study of organic molecules in prebiotic environments, employing spectral techniques such as UV, NMR, fluorescence, and IR spectroscopy, as well as advanced analytical methods like LC-MS. Additionally, I recently completed a literature study at the University of Amsterdam in the Molecular Photonics/Analytical Chemistry group, focusing on spectral and analytical techniques for characterizing nanoparticles. This work included Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, and nano-trace analysis.
During my bachelor’s studies, I worked at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the BioAnalytical Chemistry group. My work focused on developing liquid chromatographic methods compatible with mass spectrometry to characterize protein heterogeneity. This experience improved my methods development and separation sciences skills, laying a solid foundation for my analytical expertise.
