Jaap Deinum

I’m a Dutch-Chinese producer & filmmaker raised in China, Oman, Malaysia, and The Netherlands. With this international upbringing, I am focused on producing projects that resonate with global audiences through both strong storytelling as well as a lens on social impact. I’m all about handling the micro and macro of production management, and love assembling diverse creative teams to achieve it collaboratively. Let's connect and tell great stories!

As a freelance producer and production manager I have orchestrated numerous independent projects, from grant applications, crew assembly and scheduling scouts, all the way to post-production and festival runs. With a meticulous approach to budgets and production paperwork, I ensure each project runs smoothly while adhering to financial constraints.
