My name is Joost Röben, Senior Account Manager at IQ Staffing.
I help organisations in banking, finance and insurance find strong professionals in IT, Security, Project Management and Risk/Data. My focus is on secondment and freelance staffing for teams that need quality, speed and reliability in complex environments.

Alongside secondment and freelance staffing, I also bring executive search experience into my current role. I have worked on senior and specialist searches across finance, risk, compliance, architecture and technology, and I continue to use that search-driven approach when mapping markets, engaging passive candidates and advising clients on scarce talent.
Before moving deeper into staffing and recruitment, I built commercial experience in international wine sales. That background shaped my ability to open doors, build trust quickly, manage long-term relationships and communicate across cultures.
I speak Dutch and English fluently, advanced Spanish, and basic German, French and Papiamento. This international and multilingual background helps me connect naturally with clients and candidates across markets.
My approach is direct, personal and long-term. I prefer to understand the team, the challenge and the context before introducing people. That leads to better matches, stronger relationships and more sustainable placements.
