I aim to work in Investment Banking

My first internship experience has taken place at Danone, as a Finance Intern. I have gained major Financial and corporate experience while working in the Danone team as a Finance Intern. I started my financial career by learning how controlling works, and how a major corporation conducts its daily financial activities.

I got to analyze a specific country’s data on budgeted vs. actual amounts and determine the cause of deviations. This process also required collaboration with the Logistics team. On the other side, I got to run my project, namely optimizing the Bank Statement processing, as it was done manually before.

This way, I got to contribute to the efficiency of the Financial department at Danone. Moreover, I had the opportunity to become a Summer Intern at the Monetary Policy Department of the National Bank of Moldova. During this internship I had the chance to see how a Central Bank’s work is organized, to analyze and see how Inflationary data and quarterly reports are made, and to analyze the Central Bank’s medium-term strategy.

I am a third-year Bachelor Student at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, studying Economics and Business Economics. My studies are comprised of multiple Economics courses with a touch of Finance as well.
