I am 19 and from Northern Ireland on working holiday visa (which expires in march 2027) and very excited to be working in Nelson. I have experience working as a lifeguard, waiter and solo musician. I also enjoy scouting and love playing music and hockey.
All these activities and jobs gave me lots of experience in teams of various sizes and environments. I am prepared for all tasks/hours, whether it be casual, part-time or full-time. I love meeting new people and overall, I am an outgoing, altruistic individual.
Lifeguard/Leisure Assistant at Lagan Valley Leisure-Plex (2023 – 2025)
I worked in a tight-nit team, dealing with, and problem solving for the public. The job required lots of concentration and professionalism at all times for the safety of others. It involved lots of cleaning, security checks and attentive work in all areas of the Leisure Centre
Waiter at Royal Portrush Open (2025)
I served food and drinks, cleaned tables, polished cutlery and waited under pressure in a heavily intense catering tent, 8 hours a day for the British Open golf competition.
Solo Musician at Self-Employed (2026)
I have played several music gigs at services, weddings etc. My favourite being at the Shu piano bar in Belfast for piano with vocals.
