Jerry Ponce Mandap

I’m a UX writer and designer focused on building developer-friendly products that communicate clearly and consistently. I specialize in crafting intuitive, approachable copy for technical tools—helping both technical and non-technical users feel confident and informed.

What I do best

• Write clear, concise UI copy that aligns with product voice and user expectations
• Develop scalable voice and tone guidelines as part of design systems
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to simplify complex concepts
• Use research and user testing to advocate for copy that balances business goals and user needs

I believe good UX writing builds trust. Whether it’s an onboarding slide, a pricing page, or a tooltip, I focus on making every word purposeful. I thrive in environments where iteration is valued, and where design decisions are backed by testing and thoughtful storytelling.

What I’ve learned

• Words are design.
• The best solutions come from collaboration and negotiation.
• Transparency (even when it’s uncomfortable) often builds better user experiences.
