Hi! I’m Jessalou, a Summa Cum Laude graduate in Communications and a social media manager and short-form video creator with hands-on experience managing multiple brands, creating content from scratch, editing short-form videos, and using analytics to improve social media performance.
In my previous role as a Social Media Officer at Malagos Agri-Ventures Corporation, I managed the online presence of two brands, Malagos Chocolate and Malagos Produce, across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. I handled the full content workflow, from content planning and filming to editing, writing captions, publishing, and tracking performance. I also helped build Malagos Produce’s social media presence from the ground up.
I also have a background in filmmaking, which strongly influences how I approach content. I naturally think about visual storytelling, composition, pacing, sound, shot selection, and how individual clips can work together to keep someone watching.
