This letter is to indicate my intention to apply as a full-time English teacher in your academic institution.
I have a total of 16 years in the field of education in varying roles as head teacher, department head, and teacher. The breadth of my experience in those areas postures me favorably to the position I am applying for.
In my capacity as head teacher of Metro Korea, a start-up English language center exclusive to Koreans, I built the curricula, selected the appropriate books, created the class schedules, hired teachers, and took part in giving the placement tests for the students. I was also tasked to do a great amount of legwork in dealing with different government agencies to register and legalize the said center.
As the English department head of FPT University- Danang, I introduced new policies and eliminated the ones that hampered the smooth operations of the department. Tasks which teachers found burdensome were either reduced or completely discarded.
As a teacher of long-standing, I am of the opinion that I have evolved from being a plain English teacher to being a life coach incorporating English grammar, vocabulary, and other skills into the lessons. As a bigger part of my teaching career has been spent with university students, I believe they should be ushered into both the biting and comforting realities of life outside their home and school. The values and soft skills integrated into their English lessons, in my opinion, will benefit them in farther distance for a successful career.
I believe, my contributions to the institutions I have worked with can also be extended to your school and your learners in one way or the other.

While my graduate, undergraduate, and supplementary courses count as contributing factors to what I am now as a teacher, I believe, the most relevant education was the one I got in my foundation years as a learner. The basic elementary education was where I was taught, and where I ultimately learned what I would need in my succeeding levels of education. It is for this reason that I am determined to pay forward and teach primary level students.
At this stage in their lives, primary grade pupils need not only learn skills in oral and written communications, reading and listening. More importantly, they should be molded into ideal citizens through values education that may be incorporated in their academic lessons.
