About
I have been performing Medical Billing for US Medical Claims for the last 6 years. I started my BPO career in USHealthcare by working as payer representative providing claim status and payment information. I moved to Medical Billing for professional and facility claims.
I am very familiar with all Major US Healthcare Payer insurance like Humana, UHC, Optum, Cigna and their supplemental counterparts etc. I can handle Medicare and Medicaid claims confidently. I have experienced all types of claim denial scenarios whether it is regarding authorization, coordination of benefits, appeals, edits needed on claim form like modifier or even review of medical records and CMS rule to justify medical necessity for CPT used.
Billing tools I have worked with include Athena, EFR, Cerner and Epic.
