- Conduct pre-joining briefings for joining seafarers & de-briefing for for the newly disembarked crew.
- Propose new candidates to the principal for approval.
- Coordinate repatriation cases such as medical repatriation, endorsement to Post-Medical, claims & proper monitoring/reporting to the principal.
- Prepares and submit Monthly Reports to the management such as: Crew Pool Status, Deployment Report, NFR/Withdrawn Crew, Crew Availability Report, Newly hired crew, etc
ASSISTANT CREWING MANAGER - CROSSWORLD MARINE SERVICES, INC. - Makati City

- Communicates with the clients (principal), vessel for crewing matters & ensures that emails are being responded on a timely manner.
- Coordinates with travel agent regarding flight details (both on & off signers) in most economical price, ensuring crew is holding visa as per required & other requirements for crew deployment.
- Preparation of LOG/OKTB/Letter to the Master to be handed over to the joiners.
- Arrange the crew joining process under the supervision of Crewing manager.
- Maintain communication with the principal, vessel, agents in port of call on matters pertaining to crew change arrangements.
- Follows Principal's Training Matrix and ensure that seafarers complete all required training prior dispatch.
- Prepares and send Contract Extension to the vessel master.
- Conducts Briefing & De-Briefing for on/off signers.
- Assist the Crewing manager in crew rotation plan (ensuring FIFO) is being achieved and/or basis on crew declared availability.
- Monitor crew performance evaluation & propose seafarer for promotions.
- Timely updating of both company & principal database system. (Embarkation & Disembarkation of the crew) Support and Assist the Crewing Manager in other duties as required.
OPERATIONS MANAGER - FOSCON SHIPMANAGEMENT INC - Intramuros Manila

- Monitoring and checking of emails for POS SM - Bulk Team. (13 vessels, about 250-260 onboard Filipino crew)
- Monitoring & communicating to all parties concerned with regards to crew change plan for Bulk vessels.
- Monitoring documents processing such as POEA contract, Visa application, Request of LOI to agent.
- Preparation of crew details (joining & disembarking) to be send to agent and to master and principals for crew change plan.
- Preparation of needful documentations to be included in the Letter to Master such as LOG, LTM, E-ticket, OKTB, etc. for the smooth joining/dispatch of the seafarers.
- Weekly monitoring of crew documents (lined-up & onboard) such as licenses, flag state documents, certificates, MARINA COP, and advise PIC for the renewal before expiration.
- Sending crew documents to the vessel thru DHL.
- Proper monitoring until safely received by the Vessel Master.
- Monitoring stand by crew/waiting crew status.
- Updates FCPM - crew details - Final checking of Bio-data before sending to the principal for approval of candidates.
- Advance planning of crew replacement plan and proper rotation of crew.
- In-charge of arrangement of flight details/tickets for the on and off signing crew members.
- Final checking/confirmation of PDA/FDA for the conducted crew change.
OPERATIONS DOCUMENTATION STAFF/OFFICER - FOSCON SHIPMANAGEMENT INC - Intramuros Manila
(2014-01 - 2022-01)
- In-charge for the documentation of lined-up and vacation crew for Oil/Chemical, LPG Fleet. (12 vessels, about 230-250 onboard Filipino crew)
- Advise all lined-up/vacation/new crew for any lacking mandatory & principal required documents prior embarkation to vessel.
- Recording/Monitoring of trainings, renewal of both lined-up & onboard crew which includes outsourcing. PDOS, PEME, US visa, PPRT, SIRB, COP, COC, Anti-Piracy, Flag licenses such as Panama, MPA Singapore, Marshall Island, Jeju Korea, etc.
- Preparation of needful documentation which will be included in Letter to Master.
- Scanning/Updating crew documents to be uploaded in our FCPM (system database).
- Monitoring of POEA contract of the seafarers onboard & sending extension contract in case expired.
- In-charge of seafarer's 201 file, crew list, updating of company's computerized system.
- Monitoring of email from the vessel master/principal.
