- Responsible for managing client (principal and crew) relationships, as well as developing new business from existing customers, through the delivery of a positive customer experience.
- Report to the Fleet Head/Manager for crewing operations and supervise Marine Personnel, Documentation Personnel, encoder. In close coordination with recruitment and documentation.
- Monitors crewing activities to ensure that section expenses are in accordance with approved budget.
- Monitors budget for assigned Principal to ensure that actual expenses are maintained within approved levels.
- Prepare forward planning, action plans and management reports.
- Prepare DMW documentation for position/vessel/principal accreditation (new/renewal/amendment)
- Coordinate/Request COC (Certificate of Cover) with Principal.
- Regularly communicate with principal for update and concerns (if any).
- Attend to principal, crew and allotees complaints/concerns.
- Establish and maintain meaningful business relationships with both internal and external customers to facilitate effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Provides relevant ideas and needed support that will result to business development, revenue generation, cost-savings or customer retention.
- Monitor and implement crew embarkation through processing of pre-deployment requirements.
- Monitor on time updating/encoding of crew documents in the system.
- Regularly updates Crewing Manager and Principal (if applicable) the status of the crew.
- Response to Principal concerns within 24 hours.
- Disseminates relevant information regarding crewing policies and procedures to all concerned persons.

- Overall responsible as the Person in Charge (PIC) for assigned vessels and attend to crew planning related concerns and issues received from vessels, crew, and customers.
- Responsible to timely attend to the selection of qualified officers and crew as per standards of the Principal.
- Coordinates with clients and principal in relation to crew planning.
- Monitors Officers and crew on vacation and contact the officers for availability and proposed line-up to vessels.
- Ensures that all seaman deployed are medically fit and undergone the correct medical package approved by the Principal.
- Sends notices to concerned crew regarding their schedule of reporting to the Company for pre-employment requirements, processing and crew change schedule.
- Confirms availability and conformance of crew to Company's prescribed pre-employment pre-requisites.
- Implements crew change plan (embarkation/disembarkation) and schedule.
- Attends to the encoding, maintenance and generation of required periodic reports, computer print-outs and other reports as internally required by the Company.
- Responsible for the control, maintenance and safekeeping of crew related computer records.
- Facilitates inclusion of new hires to the manpower pool.
- Communicates with Visa agents for visa applications.
- Communicates with Travel agents for booking and e-ticket issuance.
- Communicates with Training Centers for training requirements.
- Communicates with Medical Clinics for the pre-employment medical examination.
IPPS Assistant to Marine Personnel Assistant – Northern Marine Management - Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc.

- Responsible for scanning all documents.
- File and arrange documents in black folder according to checklist.
- Prepare Flag State requirements of seafarers
- Schedules crew for pre-employment medical examination, follows up results with appointed medical clinic and coordinates with Crewing and Administrative Officer or Manager the result of medical examination
- Ensure all documents are valid prior departure of seafarers.
- Prepare POEA contract and ensure SRC and pertinent information are valid before submitting
- Assist seafarers in upgrading and renewal of their documents (PRC Licenses, Tesda certificates, medical etc.).
- Prepare Breakdown of Wages and Allotment Summary of Seafarers.
- Dispatch seafarers according to schedule.
