PRC-Licensed Chemist, eleven years in mining and minerals. Most of that has been nickel — lab work at an HPAL plant, then minerals testing and operations inside Bureau Veritas. These days I consult to nickel, gold and copper site laboratories in Dinagat and Agusan.
The work I like most is the setup side. Last project was a laboratory establishment package for a client building a new onsite facility: equipment, capital budget, permits, site and utilities, staffing, build timeline. Nine tabs. They used it as their approval document.
I'm ISO/IEC 17025 trained, certified in internal quality auditing, risk management and measurement uncertainty. I'm comfortable working across time zones, having reported into Singapore and coordinated with an Australian team on a feasibility study bid.

I help mine sites work out what their laboratory actually needs. That means assessing existing facilities, matching analytical capability to ore type and throughput, and costing out equipment, staffing and timelines.
Also handles the documentation side — sampling SOPs, QA/QC procedures, permit registers and regulatory checklists. Recently consolidated 86 separate client reports into one controlled workbook with a live dashboard.

Reported to a regional director in Singapore. Prepared proposals, quotations and tender submissions, compiled monthly business reports, and supported revenue forecasting.
In 2025 I worked with the Australian team on our bid for the Makilala Mining feasibility study, keeping scope and technical inputs aligned across both sides before the tender closed.
Also maintained the ISO/IEC 17025 quality system through external accreditation audits, scheduled inspectors and lab teams, and ordered equipment and consumables against project schedules.
