Ross Manlunas

Drawing upon fourteen years of working experience as both a classroom English teacher and as the Managing Director of Lazare Academy of Calamba, Inc., a private learning institution that I run with my family and partners, I have cultivated a set of skills and abilities that make me a very competent and effective worker. My long years of working experience have also instilled in me a sense of discipline, responsibility and commitment that I feel will be a great asset to any company. Recently, I have applied as part-time ESL (English as a second language) instructor for Weblio Eikaiwa, to increase my earning capacity while I am opening my own private school in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

As a part-time WFH (work-from-home) ESL instructor, I focus mainly on teaching corporate/group classes during the morning schedules.

Managing Director at Lazare Academy of Calamba, Inc. (2007-09 – 2024-06)

As managing director of a private school, I have handled multiple roles and responsibilities, particularly in the daily operation of the school, to wit:

• Curriculum design and implementation
• Faculty/staff management
• Student/parent relations
• Transactions and communication with the pertinent governmental institution such as the Department of Education, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, City Hall, etc.
• Procurement of materials and equipment to be utilized by the school.
• Teaching English Grammar and Literature classes to secondary level students.
