Currently Working as a General Manager (Works) and responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of Thatta Cement , Thatta Power including Waste Heat Recovery Plant with administrative matters of all above plants and directly reported to CEO.

More than 30 Years excellent experience in related fields w.r.t Erection, Installation, Testing, Commissioning ,Operational with management and have very vast experience w.r.t Projects /Management and hands own experience in field of Instrumentation, Automation, PLC/DCS ,Frequency Drive ,HVAC, Water/Air Cooled AC, Solar System as well as Mechanical/Process.

Till now have completed many project i.e. M/S Askari Cement Plant Nizampur, M/S S.G FIBRE Line #7 Spinning/Power Plant (10 MW),M/S Thatta Cement Plant Up-gradation from (1000 to 1550 to 2000)Tons/Day, Thatta Power Plant (23.1 MW) and WHRS through Cement/Power (5.1MW), during said project activities worked with multiple local and foreign expert with multiple training in related fields with different industry application .

Experience

Present Duties &Responsibilities:

Implementation of process approach and risk based thinking.
Ensure awareness of Quality Policy, Quality Objectives and Contribution of effectiveness of QMS including benefits of improve performance and implications of non-conforming with QMS requirements at all levels.
Engaging, directing and supporting persons for effective implementation of QMS.
Provide feedback on internal and external factors, needs and expectations of interested parties and strategic directions.
Promote continual improvements, initiate and document process changes.
Perform periodic analysis and evaluation where required. Initiate corrective actions.
To organize Electrical, Instrument, PLC & DCS departments with 132KV Grid Station and 23.1 MW Power Plant and keep it up to date.
To attend the daily plant manager's meeting.
To manage department schedule and duty roaster and to authorize all leave and overtime of the staff.
To plan and organize the department as per plant requirement to minimize the plant stoppage.
Responsible to design/ supervise electrical/ electronic and instrumentation circuits in the plant emergency to minimize the production lost.
To manage and supervise the calibration of instruments and electrical equipment according to manufactures specification and maintain the records.
To Organize Electrical, Instrument, PLC & DCS departments with 132KV Grid Station and 7 x 3.3 TPPL Gen-sets and sort out all problems time to time.
Smooth Operation of TPPL Gen-sets and oversee the Operation/Maintenance activities as per GE standards.
To prepare and maintain daily progress reports regarding upgrading of the plant.
To attend daily manager’s meeting.
To maintain and sign the running bills of contractor during the upgrading.
To manage and issue the material as per requirement.
To inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of systems and equipment and maintain the daily reports.
To complete the scheduled projects and installation in approved time for in order to control the production loss.
To control on Plant Power losses as well as to minimize the ratio of damages for electrical & instrument machines/equipment of Cement Plant.
Responsible to manage & supervise any plant alterations/up-gradations recommended by foreign experts to enhance production
To manage/ supervise regarding the indenting of material, prepare the material cost and timing estimates as per plant requirements.
Set and manage the budget of the Electrical, Instrument, PLC & DCS departments.
Liaison with colleagues and share best practice.
To manage the team and utilize their services in the best of the works.
To supervise the maintenance of records, data log of daily checking and daily routine faults history.
To coordinate with other departments on schedule maintenance of the plant machinery.
To guide his subordinates in preparing preventive and planned maintenance
Schedules & supervises the implementation of the same.
To liaison with purchase department in head office for procurement of the spares.
To deal with foreign experts regarding up-gradation of plant machinery & for the procurement of new equipment.
Perform duties as Substitute to General Manager during absence/annual leave of G.M (Works)
Other duties/special projects assigned by the Management from time to time.
