I am an FCA , with 20 years of experience in finance and controllership in large public and private limited companies, I have successfully managed finance functions across the country at CXO level and optimized business processes to help business achieve and accelerate revenue growth through systems transformation and innovative financial insights. Systems transformation, automation, restructuring, finance business partnering and team leadership have been my more competencies. For instance, in my prior capacity as a Chief Accounts Officers at Karachi Port Trust, I led the transformation of legacy old system in place since 1956 and through automation brought in efficiency and transparency. This also led to cost curtailment by optimizing human resource.
At Textile City, I developed the entire finance department from grounds up and structured the organization as per current best practices. Moreover, through development of Feasibility study for the 1250-acre Textile zone achieved Rs. 2.5 Billion loan facility.
As General Manager Finance at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited I focused on removing redundancies in order to facilitate our clients by bring in more efficient and system focused complain resolution by introducing new financial reporting model and dashboard metrics / KPIs to support strategic business decision making.
Finally, as a Management Consultant, I worked on diversified areas by developing Feasibility Study for starts-up, Financial Analysis of existing companies in order to develop pitch deck to working with other departments like Marketing, Administration and Operation in order to obtain 360-degree view of the functions of the companies.
