ASSISTANT MANAGER (PLANNING) at HQ NATIONAL LOGISTICS CORPORATION (NLC) (2021-08 – Present)

• Completion of projects from initiation to closure in terms of scope, time, quality and cost while maintaining all levels of safety and environment management.
• Understanding project specifications for developing of project schedules on Primavera P6 & EPPM, ensuring provision of resources and materials as per the approved execution plan and mechanisms are in place to monitor project performance.
• Preparation of contract agreements with contractors and ensuring contractual obligations and cost control are in place.
• Ensure construction assurance through audits on quality of works, technical competencies, adherence to specifications, compliance with safety and environment procedures.
• Provision of bi-weekly and monthly reports including costs incurred, cost forecast and revised schedules. Presenting the planned vs actual progress, S-curve data, Schedule variance (SV), Cost variance (CV) and highlight any issues beforehand.
• Management of risk register and strategic planning for mitigation of future risks.
• Accountability for assigned portfolio of projects for regulatory reporting requirements, internal and commercial auditing.
• Report on schedule progress inclusive of contractual spend utilizing reporting metrics including EV (earned value) and PV (planned value) and deviations within all functions and parties involved in the project.
• Collaboration with other departments which includes design office, project monitoring, procurement, claims & recovery, finance, health and safety to ensure projects are managed in an excellent way from initiation till completion.
• Ensuring work performed data is compiled and submitted for processing of organizational process assets.
• Collecting data from various clusters to support comprehensive reporting, covering all areas of Project Management such as project scope, timelines, budget, resource allocation, quality, risk management, and the development/tracking of metrics.
