• Built and containerized a login/signup web application using a 3-tier architecture: Nginx (reverse proxy) → Node.js/Express (backend) → MongoDB (database)
• Configured Docker Compose to orchestrate all three services on a custom network, with a named volume for persistent database storage
• Wrote a custom Nginx configuration to reverse-proxy incoming requests to the backend container

• Launched and configured an EC2 instance on AWS using the Free Tier — first hands-on cloud server deployment
