I've been working in IT support for the past 15 years.
I started my career helping out friends and family with basic tech issues. That's when I realized I really enjoyed troubleshooting and solving problems.
In my current role, I handle all sorts of support requests - from setting up new devices to assisting with software glitches. No two days are the same!
When users are frustrated, I try to calm them down and methodically figure out the root cause. Good communication is key.
In my free time, I like building PCs and experimenting with coding projects. It's a fun hobby that also helps me learn.
I'm always reading documentation and watching tutorials to expand my skills. The IT field is constantly changing so you have to keep learning.
Down the road, I'd like to specialize more in areas like networking or security. But for now, I'm focused on gaining experience in this generalist associate role.
At the end of the day, seeing a happy user with their issue resolved is the most rewarding part of the job. I hope to keep helping power our organization through technology.
