I've wide experience, as a Global Procurement & Logistics Supervisor. I served almost 20 years to a large Healthcare and Mother Care Company in Riyadh - Saudi Arabia.Responsibilities:Obtaining RFQs, Professional Tender Quotes, Price Lists. Negotiations/communicate with International Service Providers (supplier/manufacturer/forwarder/agents).Checking and confirming the Re-order level.Professionally order placement with an effective covering letter, mentioning agreed terms and conditions.Proper follow ups and expediting the deliveries from suppliers.
Freight calculation, analysis, freight ordering.Close follow ups and coordination with freight forwarders.Insure of the shipments.Resolving discrepancies with suppliers/manufacturers.Requesting for replacements OR Credit Notes, incase of any damages/shortages, found in shipment(s).Direction and coordination with warehouse to arrange smooth deliveries.Filing Insurance Claims.Maintaining records of each transaction and submitting status reports to concerns.Strategy and planning to handle the huge Tender Orders deliveries for Ministry of Health. Obtaining itemized details with HS Codes and advising to inventory/accounts, to apply VAT.Collaborated with Directors / G.M. to implement new policies and training for employees.Obtaining Invitation letter from International companies for business meetings.Providing the assistance and directions to concern staff (Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, Warehouse).Coordinate with Sales and Tender department.Advising to Biomedical Engineers for commissioning and installation the units.
