Hospital Construction Project Management:

Managed two (2) Medical Cities Hospitals projects for the Ministry of Health in coordination with different steak holders at Zuhair Fayez Consultant, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I was assisted by two CM, one for King Faisal Medical City and another for Prince Mohammed Medical City, to make sure that all submittals are submitted as per schedule. Managed well equipped contractor and monitored to execute the project as per contract documents.

Responsibilities included coordination and liaison with the Client, Project Management Office, contractor and designer. Tasks involved managing technical analysis, review of monthly reports, payment certificates in accordance with the standard procedure, conducted the project through our professional staff both at the core team and at the site to ensure that the work is properly executed and comply with the specifications.

Managed and planned some of the largest and most prestigious landmark multi-storey hospital buildings construction projects management as a Senior GM of Building Construction Department for Emaar, Islamabad, Pakistan. Responsible for developing and implementing the project management, hospital building construction works, overall supervision and monitoring of hospital projects. Experienced in supervision, construction planning/scheduling and contract management.

Planned, Implemented and Monitored the performance of design and/or supervision of hospital projects including roads, water supply, sanitation, sewage treatment and environmental engineering. Experienced include working at site, liaising with consultant and contractor ensuring work completed on time, in budged and as per approved design. Responsible for verification of bill raised by contractor and consultant as per the contracts/agreements.

Managed hospital projects including technical analysis and reports; assisted staff and other departments requiring hospital Building Construction management expertise; attended meeting and hospital Building Construction management sessions; coordinated and supervised hospital Building Construction management studies. Managed the supervision and hospital Building Construction management matters, development, enforcement and directs/supervises all administrative and technical staff. Provided technical input on complex hospital Construction management issues.

Presented information to neighborhoods, civic groups and general public. Maintained hospital Building Construction Projects management database and prepared city council legislation. Managed funding structure, development of hospital project implementation schedule and cost estimate.

Organized and prioritized daily work assignments, worked to meet the objectives of the Building Construction management department. Guided and advised customers regarding inquiries, complaints and the development of hospitalBuilding Construction projects management. Communicated effectively both orally and written with all the department personnel, City officials, developers and outside professionals.

Hospital Construction Supervision:

Managed all phases of the hospital building management projects leading to their successful completion. Conducted engineering management of hospital building, roads, intersection improvements and roadway widening based on GDOT’s standards and specifications. Tasks included preparation of conceptual design of HospitalBuilding, environmental documents, summary of quantities and detailed cost estimate.

Supervised preliminary plans of Hospital Building, typical sections, roadway profiles, erosion control plans, ROW plans, utility plans, MOT plans, signing and marking plans, cross-sections, specs and final plans. Performed protocol of water supply projects, storm/sewer drainage projects and quite familiar with GDOT’s Plan Development Process (PDP). Prepared proposals for city, counties and GDOT.

Designed a drainage system for City of New Orleans, set the grades for intersections and performed calculations on inlet spacing. Experienced in hospital Building Construction management and quite familiar with capital improvement program of City of New Orleans for hospital Building Construction.
