I am Syed Farooq Shah, a Social and Community Development Sector practitioner, serving diverse community people since October, 1995. Having good analytical skills, social mobilization/organization skills and techniques, capacity building both in hard and soft components
I bring over 27 years of progressive experience in the development and humanitarian sectors, with extensive expertise in project management, community development, WASH, livelihoods, resilience building, governance, and social protection. I have served with leading organizations including SRSP, USAID-FDPLD, UNDP-RAHA, KP-SADP, and BISP, where I have managed multi-sectoral projects, led field teams, strengthened community institutions, and ensured effective coordination with government departments, UN agencies, and local stakeholders. My experience includes planning, implementing, and monitoring large-scale programs, managing partnerships, and ensuring compliance with donor standards.
Throughout my career, I have focused on empowering vulnerable communities, enhancing service delivery, promoting inclusion, and supporting sustainable development across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other regions of Pakistan.
Master in Economics from the University of Peshawar in 1992
