Led a 2-person team to rescue and stabilize Quartrly, a MERN-stack (Express, MongoDB, React) video-meeting marketplace, troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading a legacy codebase carrying significant technical debt.
Built and enhanced React front-end components and Express RESTful APIs, optimizing the application for performance, scalability, and usability for users booking paid video meetings.
Discovered and remediated a critical security vulnerability exposing AWS credentials inside user JWT tokens, rotating all keys and restricting IAM policies with zero downtime.
Diagnosed and resolved recurring EC2 production issues and shut down active exploitation of the client's S3 bucket, keeping the platform live in production under continued feature development.
