O mnie
I trained as an electrical engineer before I ever set foot in a classroom. That background still shows up in how I teach — I think in small, repeatable steps that build toward something bigger. When I started working with three- and four-year-olds in 2015, I noticed the same problem engineers notice on a factory floor: a process only works if every step is visible.
Phonics taught purely by sound was invisible to most of my students. So I started drawing it. Over the eight years since, that habit grew into "Phonics Doodles" — hand-drawn illustrations that turn a letter sound into a small story a child can picture and hold onto.
It's the method I'm now known for among the teachers I train across schools in India, alongside Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar and handwriting technique. I moved to Kraków with my husband and recently completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education alongside learning Polish. I'm looking for a classroom here where the same instinct — make the abstract visible — is welcome.
