Emidio Gois

Emidio has worked in hospitality and catering for most of his working life. He is currently the GM of 2 sushi restaurants in South Kensington called Yashin Ocean House and Yashin sushi bar. They are busy restaurants and will each have a turnover of over £2.5 million Year.

Prior to this he was an operations manager for Compass catering group at the Excel London venue. He managed around 7 bars and restaurants here and is used to developing menus, budgets, etc. Before this he was a food & beverage director in a hotel in Portugal.

He has also had his own restaurant in Portugal for 2 years. He is is passionate about food so will be looking to have a high-quality food and drink offering.

Strong and confident management skills within high end and fine dining restaurants with a strong focused customers background, capable of achieving positive results above and beyond with customers and staff. Always with positive and professional attitude. Able to quickly understand complex concepts, identify and solve problems, turn ideas into logical strategies.

Implement systems that optimize productivity and customer satisfaction, observant and eye for detail. Capable of work under pressure whilst being motivator and inspiring teams at all times.
