Glen Ho

I have around 30+ years of experience in the IT industry. I've been involved in various different industries, from banking/finance, health care and airlines. I've have experience in several technologies, including COBOL, Java, C, python, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Classic ASP, HTML, C#, linux, Windows, macOS, MS SQL, and Oracle. In most companies that I've worked for, I usually attain a leadership position.

I currently work for Integrated Minds Ltd., Mauritius as a Team Lead. My team consisted of 4 developers. I am contracted out to a company in South Africa. I am the team lead for a team developing their loan application system.

Previously, I worked for African Bank. I led a shared services team as a Team Lead. My team consisted of 8 people. My team's responsibilities were varied. We developed Java micro services, ETL processes and services, documentation and communication templates and also did production support. I was at the company for over 12 years.

Before that I worked for a company as a CRM Technical Consultant that was part of EOH Holdings. We were a team of 5 developers configuring/developing on the Siebel Platform for Vodacom. I was at the company for 2 years.

I also worked for Asymilate South Africa as a Financial Markets Developer. I was part of a team of 7 which included developers and business analysts. We developed on a system called Calypso for Investec. I was only with the company for 3 months.

I also worked for Sybase South Africa as a Senior Technical Engineer. I was contracted out to several sites working on different technologies such as Java, Visual Basic, and Classic ASP. The industries varied from health care to import/export. I worked alone as well as within a team. I was with the company for 2 years.

I completed school in 1989. After that, I finished a entry-level programming course in 1990 at TDF Associates. Since then, I've attended and completed several courses to develop my skills and understanding as a developer as well as a leader.
