As a Receptionist at Intercontinental Hotel, I had the privilege of serving as the first point of contact for guests, clients, and employees. My responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks, all aimed at ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for all who entered our premises.
My daily duties included greeting and welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments, and managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Handling inquiries, providing information about the hotel's services and facilities, and assisting with reservations were also integral aspects of my role.
In addition to these tasks, I successfully managed a variety of administrative responsibilities. These included maintaining a neat and organized reception area,
managing mail and deliveries, and ensuring that office supplies were well-stocked. I also collaborated closely with colleagues across departments to coordinate guest requests and ensure that special accommodations were met with prompt attention.
One of my proudest achievements during my time as a Receptionist was my contribution to improving guest satisfaction scores. Through active listening,
effective communication, and a commitment to resolving issues promptly, I was able to consistently address guest concerns and enhance their overall experiences.
My time at Intercontinental Hotel further sharpened my multitasking abilities,
attention to detail, and adaptability. I developed a strong proficiency in using various software systems for reservations and check-ins, further streamlining our processes.
