Operations & Maintenance aspect:
System Engineer wherein responsible for ensuring the operations, corrective, and preventive maintenance of the whole electrical system such as Electrical Distribution System, Lighting Management and Control System, Stand by Diesel Generators, Fire Alarm System, UPS systems and Emergency Battery Central System (ECBS) and Parking Management System.
Plan and execute the major annual Planned Preventive Maintenance of electrical equipment with the contractor such as Dry Type Transformers, RVSS panels, Air Circuit Breakers along with the specialist and ensure that all PPM will be completed without any disruption, in good condition and back in normal operation.
Accountable for the operations of Lighting Control System during main events & international competition e.g. FOP & Bowl lights and other lighting systems in the main stadium area.
Knowledgeable to the QCDD inspection of the MEP system Electrical, Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting system for the renewal of building operation at project site.
Ensure that the Handing and Taking over procedure of completed projects related to Electrical/ELV system is properly accomplished as well as testing and commissioning, preparation of asset condition and snags reports which are still covered by the DLP (Defect Liability Period).
Manage the contractor work for the installation of electrical equipment such as UPS, MDB, SMDB, DB electrical piping, cable pulling, termination including testing and commissioning as well electrical load computation.
Accountable for reviewing and evaluating Single Line Diagram, Electrical As-built Drawings and Shop Drawings submitted by the contractors prior to commence any modification, rehabilitation, and installation of electrical equipment.
Conduct pre-testing of all equipment in preparation for the upcoming events to ensure that all are operational in normal condition and managed by the contractors during the time of event.
Prepare scope of work for any project or improvement, liaise with contractors for any material and labor cost, provide recommendation to clients and manage the project on site for the completion.
In charge of the evaluation of all the tender documents submitted by the contractors, prepare, submit the technical evaluation and response to the technical clarification prior to the client approval.
Prepare tender and Executing of the approved contract in terms of technical aspects such as Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), Scope of Work (SOW), Schedule of Rates and Prices (SOR), Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
Ensure that all tender documents submitted by the contractors are properly reviewed and evaluate and prepare technical evaluation and respond to the technical clarification accordingly.
Accountable for the submission of technical evaluation, cost comparison analysis and proposed recommendation for the any project modification & improvements.
Ensuring that the SLA (Service Level of Agreement) of contractor is satisfactorily met on time as per the agreed contract and imposed on KPI for any failure in response, attend and rectify all CM, PPM tasks and breakdowns.
Prepare scope of work for any project or improvement, liaise with contractors for any material and labor cost, provide recommendation to clients and manage the project on site for the completion.
Prepare, review, finalize the Site Inspection Report provided by the team prior to discussing to client.
Leading the site team for the inspection and estimation along with the contractors & specialist.
Provide all necessary Single line diagram, as-builts drawings, O & M manuals & shop drawings that can support the contractor in executing the project smoothly.
Review all the RFI, RFP & RFQ submitted by the supplier/vendor to provide. Once all the requested documents are received and reviewed, final comparison will be submitted and discussed to the client.
Review & approved the submitted Scope of Work, Methods of Statement and other related documents to the projects submitted by the contractor.
Create & submit Corrective Maintenance (CM) task and arrange a meeting with the client to discuss the project proposal and seek approval. Once approved, meeting with my team & the contractor to prepare a schedule plan prior to proceeding with the approved task.
Conducted a review and approval of the manpower scheduling and deployment at site as well as the duration of project works.
Delegate my team to conduct inspection & validation of the materials delivery e.g. Brand, quantity, quality, warranty etc. prior to my final acceptance.
Assigned team to conduct thorough monitoring of the daily progress of work at site and keep updating the client.
Leading the team in witnessing in the testing & commissioning after completion of projects and I ensure that all test reports should be provided prior to my final acceptance.
Review and approve the final report of the project submitted by the contractor for closure and arrange a meeting with the client for final acceptance.
Replacement of Faulty UPS Battery at Al Bayt Stadium- August 2024 to January 2025.
Replacement of Faulty Isolators at Al Bayt Stadium in Main pitch area – September 2023 to December 2023.
Provision of power supply for security cabin at Al Bayt Stadium – June 2023 to October 2023.
Installation of Event Switch mode of Fire Alarm System at ISF, Lekhwiya Camp- February 2021 to June 2021.
Provision of power supply of newly installed AC units in L’ Wazzar Restaurant at Katara Cultural Village – April 2020 to September 2020.
Provision of power supply of installed inflatables in Beach area at Katara Cultural Village – December 2017 to April 2018.
Provision of power supply of newly installed AC units in Falcon Event at Katara Cultural Village- June 2017 to October 2017.
Managed the day-to-day operation, maintenance of building facility including planning and implementation of electrical, mechanical systems, BMS (Building Management System) & Cleanroom facility as well as facility improvement.
Accountable for preparation and evaluation of annual budget for Facilities Department (OPEX and /CAPEX).
Planned and approved the Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly round preventive maintenance plan to ensure a continuous and efficient power supply of electricity including Facilities major equipment. (Electrical Substation, Transformer (Oil immersed and Dry type) Generators, UPS, Cleanroom facility. Air compressor, Chillers.
Accountable for electrical load and voltage drop computation, managed and supervised installation of electrical equipment such as UPS, Oil Immersed & Dry type transformers, ACB, MCCB, MDB, SMDB, DB electrical piping, cable pulling, termination including testing and commissioning as well as Fire Detection Alarm System, CCTV.
Managed contractors for the installation of mechanical equipment such as Generators, Centralized air-conditioning, Chillers, Air compressor unit, and piping, ducting, fire pump piping and other related mechanical projects.
Responsible for all renovation, rehabilitation of electrical and mechanical equipment for the improvement of operations process to the production line.
Out-sourcing, audit and evaluate all vendors for cost and benefits analysis.
Organized bidding process to the contactor for new projects, equipment supplies and spare parts supply.
Responsible for all the renewal of Permit to Operate business with government bodies and other government regulatory compliance.
Managed the Energy and Water consumption & conservation program.
Make a conclusion and recommendation to resolve the problem in facilities operation and equipment issues to prevent disruption of business operation.
Modification and Rehabilitation of electrical systems to comply to the requirements in production line.
Installation of additional 4 x 30TR centralized DX type air-conditioning units in compliance to the requirement of production line.
Conversion of Fluorescent lights to production area and offices from Mercury type to LED type as part of energy management program and submit presentation of Return of Investment (ROI)
Knowledgeable for the operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant equipment such as air conditioning, Air compressor, Air dryer, power generators, vacuum pumps, air piping’s, building maintenance, paintings, plumbing’s, repair and maintenance of production equipment such as conveyors, trolleys, pallet lifters, etc.
Supervised all contractors to ensure that all projects will meet as per agreed time frame.
Responsible for the Daily monitoring and checking of all parameters at clean room area which include Temperature/Relative Humidity, monthly particle count.
Responsible for daily monitoring, repair, operation, and preventive maintenance of air shower room.
Knowledgeable in Electrical piping, wiring, cable pulling and installation of panel boards.
Assist and Support Senior Facilities Engineer for the Projects and Improvements.
Other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Provide assistance in upgrading capacity of transformer from 1 MVA to 1.5MVA
Installation of power supply for the 500 KVA UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for Server and IT equipment
Modification of electrical and grounding system
Modification and improvement of cleanroom at production area (Class 1k and Class 10k)
Responsible for electrical load and voltage drop computation, managed and supervised installation of electrical equipment such as UPS, Dry type transformer, MDB, SMDB, DB electrical piping, cable pulling, termination including testing and commissioning.
Knowledgeable for the installation of mechanical equipment such as Centralized air-conditioning, air Compressor unit as well as plumbing, piping, ducting, fire pump piping and other related mechanical projects.
Knowledgeable for the overhauling and repair of compressor motors such as TRANE, YORK, (model JS 44,64,84) CARLYLE (06C,06D,06E) and COPELAND. (From 30HP to 150HP).
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of CHILLERS such as TRANE, YORK, CARRIER, SKM
Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of PACKAGED TYPE and SPLIT TYPE air-conditioning.
Responsible for the repair, troubleshooting and daily monitoring of chiller from control to mechanical system.
Prepare scope of work for any project or improvement, liaise with contractors for any material and labor cost, submit recommendations to client and manage the project on site for closure.
Provide Technical Investigation report and Incident report to all electrical and mechanical problem recurrence.
Managed and supervised all contractors to ensure that all projects and works will meet as per agreed time frame.
Overall, in-charged for the operation, maintenance of building facility including planning and implementation of electrical and mechanical projects as well as facility improvement.
Knowledgeable for electrical load and voltage drop computation, managed and supervised installation of electrical equipment such as UPS, Dry type transformer, ACB, MCCB, MDB, SMDB, DB electrical piping, cable pulling, termination including testing and commissioning as well as Fire Detection Alarm System, CCTV.
Accountable for the installation of mechanical equipment such as centralized air-conditioning, air compressor unit and piping, and other related mechanical projects.
Managed and supervised contractors to ensure that all projects will be completed ahead to the time frame.
Responsible for all the renewal of Permit to Operate business with government bodies and other government regulatory compliance.
Prepare and provide Gantt Chart to any project, works and facility improvement to thoroughly monitor the progress of work and ensure that it will be executed properly.
Accountable to the operation and maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarms system of building facility (Addressable and Conventional type).
Prepare and submit a year-round preventive maintenance program to all facilities equipment to ensure continuous and efficient supply of Utility power, Air conditioning as well as water supply.
Prepare, submit and conduct Quarterly, Semi –annually and Annual PM Schedule of all facilities equipment (Substations, Transformers, Distribution Boards, Generators, UPS, Air Compressors and Chillers.
Out-sourcing, audit and evaluate all vendors for cost and benefits analysis.
Organized bidding process to the contractor for new projects, equipment supplies and spare parts supply.
Prepare/recommend new projects and improvement of building and production facility for management’s approval
Provide cost analysis for the new projects and any renovation or modification to the building facility.
Conversion of Refrigerant, from ODS (Ozone- Depleting Substances) to Non- ODS
Support for the installation of 3 units of 1545 KVA stand-by gen-set unit (Cummins)
Installation of 2 x 250KVA UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for the Equipment of production.
Supervised and supported the installation project of 3 x 650KW synchronized stand-by gen-set unit (Caterpillar)
Modification of and re-piping of CDA pipeline, from G.I. pipe convert to B.I. pipe (seamless type)
Installation of 10 x 30TR centralized DX type air-conditioning unit at production line.
Installation of Fire alarm and detection system at the whole building facility.
