I am a University rank holder and Gold medalist in B. Arch degree from University of Calicut, India and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). My experience in different organizations helped me to involve various stages of design & construction like concept development, design presentation, detail drawings, approval drawings to tender, as well as execution and quality control.

I have worked with projects like Residential towers, Commercial complexes, Embassy buildings, Offices, Heritage projects, Hotels, Several Palaces and Villa compounds in Qatar. 1. Design Lead & Project Manager at GHARNATA CONSULTING ENGINEERING, Qatar (DEC 2020 – TILL DATE).

• Maintain continuous alignment of project scope with strategic objectives and make recommendations to modify to enhance effectiveness.
• Spearhead the teamwork, planning the weekly work assignment for team members, Project schedules, WBS and Project plan.
• Oversee the design process using technical expertise and management skills. 
• Client co-ordination and project direction to proceed in work. Communicate effectively with clients, end-users, and contractors.
• Addressing escalated issues in client meetings and handle documents likes RFIs, RFAs, MoU Authority letters, MoMs, VRs, RFPs etc in the Design & Built projects.
• Attend weekly progress meeting with clients and manage internal technical resources to meet work pressure efficiently.
• Review and Approve the output by the team prior to client/authority submission. Directed the production of architectural presentations, DD drawings, IFC packages, Tender drawings, As-built drawings (for heritage projects) etc.

• Liaise with authorities and others for infrastructure tie-ins and developments.
• Co-ordinate Authority approval process and review drawings and documents (DC1, DC2, LSP, TIS, Utilities etc.) prepared in-line with Building regulation and procedures as per Qatar Building permit system.
• Enact and manage the Changes/Variations in design under close consultation with potential stakeholders.

• Spearheading architectural designs and presentations; ensure design integrity, compliance with codes and architectural specifications, and timely completion.
• Oversee preparation of design drawings (SD, DD & IFC) specific to the instructions outlined in the construction documents at various stages.
• Review the production of detailed design drawings by the team and make necessary changes. Help and educate the team to develop specific technical details in design.
• Stakeholder management; Monitor the design development and project progress to meet with project scope and scheduled timeline.

• Tracking the sub-contractors to execute the submissions and execution on time as per schedule and follow up to the procurement department for payments and delivery to achieve the schedule.
• Prepare Close out documents and As-built drawings for handover procedures.
