I’m currently working for GIS section - Ministry of Irrigation, Water Resources - Khartoum as a GIS specialist for 7 years, and within this role I have been involved in a day to day practical GIS activities and analytical work, such as preparing, processing, managing and collation of GIS data and creating geodatabase, Creating and updating the Maps (Mapping), and cleaning GIS data received from the field as well, beside that I engaged in web mapping activities and data base administration.

Equally important to project success, I have learned the importance of strong stakeholder engagement, working well with partners and administrators and preparing communications to ensure they are well-informed of project progress. With 10 years of experience working within this field relevant to this position since obtaining my Master degree in GIS & Remote Sensing and obtaining my bachelor's degree in Surveying (GIS) Department.

During my experience in the field, I had the opportunity to engage in GIS training courses and I am very adept in map design and visualization (creation, design and layout) as well as usage of computer applications (database, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations, project planning, emails, graphics etc.…).

My personal skills include excellent verbal and written skills, which, combined with a friendly and outgoing personality, makes me a strong team member. I also have a very good verbal and written English skills
