Started my career as an “Export Operations Associate” in the field of Freight
Forwarding and Export Import Operations and was promoted as a “Team Leader”.
- Handled the team of 20 members from the Export Operations team in the Head office as well as back office of Al Sharqi shipping co UAE.
- Acquired deep understanding of all the “export operations” including booking containers, requesting release, manifesting containers, passing ED’s on Mirsal2,
preparing Bill of Lading and maintaining export regulations as per countries of shipment.
- Gained experience in managing and coordination of all export activities Viz a Viz export shipment scheduling, loading plan (for consolidation cargos), and problems solving.
- Daily interaction and reporting to Management, and submitting profit and loss statement report on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Experience in passing import and export declarations on Mirsal2. Also prepared quotations or pro- forma invoices to complete the process of order and shipment.
- Expertise in negotiating rates with shipping carriers and airlines carriers, prepare and submit quotations to prospect accounts on a daily basis.
