Lead Architectural Engineer with more than 12 years of experience and solid technical background. Hands-on experience in building design and construction. Expert in use of engineering knowledge, standards and technologies for the design, construction, assessment and maintenance of the built environment.

Manage, guide and lead multidiscipline engineering team to ensure that the engineering deliverables meet or exceeds the defined requirements. Excellent communication skills with superb oral, writing and presenting proficiency.

• Oversee all permanent and temporary works design to ensure compliance with relevant engineering/ design requirements/ contract & bid documents.
• Perform conceptual FEED Studies and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes and standards.
• Development of Design and IFC drawings in coordination with consultant and client representative as per the project requirement, specifications and applicable standards.
• Present project design to Client for review and make recommendations to meet their needs. 
• Liaison with managers to ensure efficient communication, immediate response to design/ construction related queries and timely transfer of drawings/ documents.
• Liaison with the Client’s Representative on all engineering matters.
• Checking design with NFPA and other safety codes as per project requirements and Prepare Fire Life Safety Plan and Reports.
• Proposing and introducing engineering control measures in building design.
• Complete technical design review and coordinating with consultants to improve the quality of design.
• Coordinate with multidisciplines e.g. structure, MEP and supervise the team during Building Information Modeling (BIM). 
• Set up Document Control System for the distribution of permanent and temporary works drawings/ engineering drawings and documentation both internally and externally.
• Coordinate with in-house planning section and monitor progress of the works relating to the design and construction 
• Implement and coordinate the development of a design programme to meet the requirements of procurement and construction programme.
• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and owner’s representatives to ensure alignment with client goals and expectations from initiation to completion of the project.
• Checking Tender documents and preparing design proposals and BOQ.
• Participating in all project phases, including conceptual designs, schematic design, design development, construction documents and revisions.
• Providing technical expertise to construction department to solve any construction related issues through supervision, RFI/TQ and modifying design as required by providing available and possible solutions as per applicable Standards.
• Coordinating between different departments like technical, procurement, quality and construction, for materials selection and coordinating with client for material approval.
• Meetings with higher management, client and stake holders for major issues and Suggesting different design details and proposals, considering cost and time impact.
• Carries responsibility for resolution of major problems for the engineering segment and personally participates in solving difficult technical problems.
• Responsible for supporting scope development, scope management and technical performance of third-party design consultants to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
• Administering value management and value engineering activities, and ensures design solutions fully address and incorporate safety, constructability, environmental and sustainability considerations.
• Manage producing and review of design and shop drawings using latest technologies and softwares. Manage producing As-built and red line drawings. 
• Review material submittals and coordinate between the Construction and Engineering teams ensuring that all requirements are conveyed clearly and delivered
• Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project; ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
• Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes.
• Provides support in maintaining current and timely change orders associated with third party design consultants.
• Monitors and reports to senior management on the progress of all projects' technical support activities within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
• Answer technical questions and resolve technical issues brought forth by the internal team members, client, consulting engineers and sub-contractors
• Propose and oversee timelines for engineering proposals/method statement and submissions are met.
• Check and confirm the accuracy of submissions from contractors, vendors and suppliers for the work to be performed, coordinate and ensure approvals are received from client in timely manner.
• Participate in final inspection of projects and walk through and make recommendation regarding acceptance of construction work and support them in all technical issues related to the discipline where necessary.
• Execute assigned work in accordance with Project Execution Plans, applicable Project Procedures and Standards within man - hour and cost budgets and Project schedule targets.
• Organizes & conducts coordination meetings with internal departments and third-party teams to evaluate the progress of work and ensure alignment or work conducted by each trade, and compliance with requirements and standards
• Guides and reviews the work of design consultants to ensure progress is within schedule and complies with requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Performs independently architectural designs of all types of buildings. Prepares details and layouts of the buildings. Prepares architectural reports or calculations or performs specialist tasks including engineering guides.
• Representing company on various fronts to maintain and build the identity to accord with and facilitate the corporate business objectives.
• Sound knowledge of electronic fire alarm, Communication and detection systems. 
• Sound knowledge of engineering services works. 
• Good understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
• Hands-on experience in lighting design and interior decorations.
• Full engineering command on all architectural items including aluminum & metal doors, windows, curtain walls, louvers, composite panels, wooden doors, electrically operated large doors including roller shutter, slidding folding doors and turnstille, hardware, glazing, drywall, insulation, acoustics, thermal bridging in building, ceiling, flooring, masonry, painting, precast concrete, waterproofing, staircases, furniture, fire proofing, brise soleil & pergolas, landscape & hardscape, out door sports facilties, out door playground finishing & equipment, bowling alley, sports complex, swimming pools, eco garden, etc.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position e.g. Engineering and Technical Manager, as may be appropriate.
