I am a New Zealander living with my family and working in Singapore since 2001. I am a mid-career professional in the financial markets and investment fields with ~12 years of experience in private markets investor reporting and ~8 years in corporate finance research and advisory. I am looking to pivot from a generalist managerial/leadership role to a specialist function leveraging my skills in research, analysis and content development.
I have built a career around client communications and investor reporting in private markets. Today, I jointly over-see the production of investor reporting content for a catalog of ~250 private markets funds and separate accounts (with a focus on story-telling for private equity investments), alongside a variety of other internal and external content. This encompasses self-directed writing alongside extensive review and editing and quality control more broadly. Process review/improvement are also within my mandate as are management and leadership for a small team of investment writers and reporting specialists.
Prior to this, I worked in the corporate finance advisory field for ~8 years. My role evolved from the research side (financial modelling and forecasting, fundamental and relative valuation, investment commentary) to execution (deal concept development, pitching, execution).
