Dear Sir / Madam,
I am seeking a Project Management role in Fit-Out, Workplace Consulting, New Builds. I have almost 4 years in the Building and Construction industry in a consultant Senior Quantity Surveyor Position, managing project finances, contracts over project lifecycles. Projects I have been involved in are large-scale public sector projects.
I am keen to provide project management services regionally and is willing to travel overseas as required.
As a keen Project Manager with a BSc Project and Facilities Management (Honours), Project Management Professional (PMP) certified is a goal of mine to achieve in the coming years. I look forward to manage the development of Retail and Commercial Fitting Outs Works, Workplace Consulting and New Building projects, through the delivery of projects, from project initiation and development, to tendering and construction phases, lastly to project handover. My experience in managing project finances and contracts throughout project lifecycles, and considerable project team cum stakeholder management skills in large scale construction projects, will give me an edge in provide Project Management services to clients.

Lastly, I am well-adept to fast-paced job-scopes and highly adaptable to varying working environments.
My experience in the building and construction industry thus far as a Senior Quantity Surveyor mainly handling large-scale public sector projects. It gives me an advantage in managing large-scale new-built project finances, and a good understanding of the range of activities in a project life-cycle. The projects range between public sector strategic-security, to private sector residential projects.
The scope involved project budgeting to Ministry of Finance, CP2M Gateway Processes for funding, cashflow, tender documentation, contract administration, variations management, tracking of project progress and finances, to final accounts and project handover.
The projects had large multi-disciplinary teams and involved multifaceted project-specific requirements (e.g. strategic and security), integrated with continuously improving industry regulations and practices (e.g. GM 2021, and Code of Practice on Buildability). I am hence able to manage a multitude of concurrent activities and stakeholders, in both pre and post-contract phases for new projects.
I have worked alongside Project Managers and had observed Project Managers in-action. I see myself to be a leading force of multidisciplinary teams for new projects as Project Managers are vital for the execution of planned project programmes, keep the project team focused on common goals, working towards deliverables, eventually for the handover of the project to client.
