After getting my BA in Sociology, I spent the next 5 years from
2014 to 2019 pursuing my goal of getting a job related to community services.
After 5 years of perseverance, my drive was not matched by any results. So I admitted to myself that it was time to pivot. This set me off on a learning journey and I started pursuing a Graduate
Diploma in Human Resource Management at SIM.
In 2019, I made the jump. I moved into HR despite the COVID-19
pandemic. I now study my mistakes, look at what I could have done better and create a plan to replace previous behaviours.
I believe learning from my mistakes will make me stronger. Thank you for the opportunity to share my mistakes with you and to improve myself by viewing my mistakes in a positive light. This could be a key to unlocking my potential.
