As a lab assistant in the flavor industry, I've spent the last three years compounding flavors and developing my skills in sensory training. My passion for taste and smell has led me to work closely with my senior flavorist to develop a range of flavor language samples, including a Chicken flavor language that captures the nuances of different chicken flavors.
In addition to my work with flavor compounds, I'm also pursuing a part-time degree in Molecular Biology & Applied Chemistry at LTU in PSB Academy. This has given me a deeper understanding of the chemical and biological processes that underpin flavor development, and has helped me to become a more versatile and knowledgeable lab assistant.
One of my proudest achievements has been working with my senior flavorist to develop a "Beef Pho" seasoning base, which showcases the power of flavors in a seasoning base. This project has allowed me to see firsthand how flavors can be used to elevate the taste and appeal of a product, and has inspired me to continue exploring new and innovative ways to create flavors that resonate with consumers.
I am a driven and dedicated individual who is committed to excellence in every aspect of my work. Whether it's compounding flavors, developing new sensory training techniques, or collaborating with senior flavorists on complex projects, I am always eager to learn and grow as a professional.
I have 3 years of working experience as a laboratory assistant in the flavour industry, not only do I compound flavours for sensory evaluation, I work alongside my senior flavourist on different projects and will be tasked to work on the projects whenever my senior flavourist is on business trips. I work with different departments, such as Analytical, QCQA and Application on how to better present the flavours to the customers as well.
I am currently pursuing a part time Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Applied Chemistry and will graduate in 2025.
