Well-versed in dairy processing technology and high moisture extrusion for food R&D, I have experience working in 4 countries across Asia, North America, and Europe. A result-oriented professional with a keen sense of business acumen, I have experience managing expectations of stakeholders in client-facing roles. I am currently seeking a suitable role in the Food Industry.
My research project as a graduate student was about the development an alternative manufacturing method for Greek style yogurt using protein-rich micellar casein concentrate with the aim of minimizing acid whey waste generation from the production process. A rigorous understanding of dairy foods processing, composition and rheology was necessary for this project. With this pilot-plant project, I had the opportunity to further develop my hands-on skills and knowledge about the various machines and equipment (HTST Pasteurizer, spray drier, fermentation tank) used in dairy processing. Moreover, this experience has honed some of my research skills including the ability to design, plan and conduct experiments, apply problem solving skills to troubleshoot experiments and use deductive reasoning to solve problems independently.
