Through my current study of MA Counselling, I embarked on a journey of becoming an empathetic listener and developed the ability to create a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to express themselves. Furthermore, my experience with my clients of a wide range of ages and backgrounds during my internship in Singapore drew me to understand and adapt my skill in catering to different needs.
Collaboration is at the core of my practice, and I look forward to working seamlessly with external mental health practitioners and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive comprehensive care. I believe my experience in both Vietnam and Singapore allows me to broaden my horizons in understanding and processing information; my previous serving experiences in churches also allowed me to develop solid interpersonal and communication skills.
