Hello! Welcome to my profile. I'm thrilled to introduce myself as an experienced early childhood educator with a passion for nurturing young minds. With over 11 years of valuable experience in this field, I have dedicated my career to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children.

One of my greatest strengths lies in my deep understanding and implementation of the PYP (Primary Years Programme) curriculum. I have successfully integrated this internationally recognized framework into my teaching practices. Throughout my journey, I also have had the privilege of mentoring numerous novice and preservice teachers. Guiding and empowering others to excel in their roles is a gratifying aspect of my career that I wholeheartedly embrace.

In addition to my experience and expertise, I possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, which enable me to establish strong connections with students, parents, and colleagues alike. I strongly believe in the importance of open and effective communication to create a harmonious learning community.

Overall, my passion for early childhood education, proficiency in the PYP curriculum, and dedication to mentoring others make me a valuable asset to any educational institution. I am an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and working with children aged 4-6 years old as well as implementing the PYP curriculum. I developed and delivered engaging lessons, facilitated student-centered activities, and fostered a positive classroom environment that nurtured students' curiosity and critical thinking skills.

In addition to my work with students, I actively engaged with parents through conducting workshops on various topics, including the importance of a strong home-school partnership. By equipping parents with tools and strategies to support their child's education, I aimed to create a collaborative and supportive learning community.

Furthermore, I had the privilege of actively contributing to the field as I conducted workshops for preservice teachers, focusing on the importance of home-school collaboration. By sharing my insights and best practices, I aimed to prepare future teachers for successful partnerships with families. Another professional milestone was being a panelist at the ECDA (Early Childhood Development Agency) conference in 2018.

This opportunity allowed me to share my expertise and contribute to the professional development of fellow educators within the early childhood education community.

My educational background includes a Master of Education (Early Childhood) from Nanyang Technological University, a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Studies and Leadership from Wheelock College, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Ngee Ann Poly.
