As a finance student, I don’t restrict myself only to business knowledge. I challenge myself in different fields.
When I was in year 1 of my studies, I enrolled in a web-developing course in Teamtreehouse.com. Being able to program my blog page from scratch is what I used to proud of.
When I was serving my internship at Watsons, I was given a lot of tasks. Having some knowledge in Python but not knowing anything about automation, I have decided to learn how to build my automation program to assist my work. As a result, I completed my tasks more efficiently with the automation programs I built. More importantly, my program would help me to transfer information and data from web into excel format. That would allow me to do my analysis much more easier.
Now I'm in my final year, but my learning journey continues. I selected Principal of Taxation, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics as my elective modules. I also pick up video editing so that I can express my creativity through videos.
Learning is fun, and the things I learn can be useful in an unexpected manner.
Degree: Business (Graduating in May)
