Just graduated from Software Engineering Bootcamp from Rocket Academy in July 2023, looking forward to pursuing a career in Software Engineering / Full-stack Development / Frontend Development / Backend Development, thanks
My last job was Curriculum Developer with Geniebook Pte Ltd where I Initiated, researched and led discussion on consideration of adding new IGCSE syllabus as part of business expansion, targeting the South-East Asia market of 1000+ students, and wrote feasibility study for management for decision-making.
Before that I was a Digital Marketing and Sales Executive with Learner Net Pte Ltd, where I was tasked to generate SEO content and I achieved top SEO Google search result on my written article about giving Oral Exam tips for students in 2021, which the company subsequently used as part of our year-long marketing campaign strategies.
Prior to this, I had an 8 month internship as a Frontend Web Developer with Websparks Pte Ltd where I converted XD designs into code by creating various UIs : navbar, headers, image carousel, banner, modals, buttons (with various behaviours), scrollbars, customised bullets, CSS ribbons, and many others to create clients' websites.
My earliest job was a secondary school English teacher with the Ministry of Education for 17 years.
That would be Rocket Academy's Software Engineering Bootcamp, which I completed in July 2023. It was a four-month fulltime course where I learnt about React, PostgreSQL, Sequelize, Node, Express, Material UI, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and GitHub. I had to complete four projects using the skills and knowledge I learnt during the bootcamp.
