As a self-motivated and avid learner, I am someone who is willing to push boundaries and learn various skills so that I can be well-equipped to tackle the vagaries of our modern world and in the process contribute back to society in any way I can. In Junior College, I took on H2 China Studies which helped me improve my communications, research and analytical skills, especially through an individual thesis I did on China-Africa relations. Currently, I am a year 1 undergraduate at the National University of Singapore, majoring in Political Science and Communications. In my first year of university, I have achieved academic and non-academic balance through my contributions to the National University of Singapore’s Student Union as well as NUS Students Arts and Social Sciences Club. With my expertise in such areas and my willingness to learn, I believe I would be able to contribute meaningful ideas which help to build a better Singapore.
After my Junior College education, I worked part time at Adidas as a retail sales associate. Given this role, I was tasked to engage with customers as well as go through trainings for the different products so as to better improve my customer relations. In my first year of undergraduate studies, I started giving private tuition, focused on Social studies and History for students aged 14 and above.
Currently, I am an undergraduate at NUS, majoring in political science and communications and new media. Prior to this, I was a student at Victoria Junior College (Arts) and took on H2 China Studies in English, H2 Economics, H2 History, H1 General Paper, H1 Tamil, H1 project work and H1 mathematics. I was also from St Margaret's secondary school where I completed my GCE O'Level Examination.
